Michael Moore: Adventures in A TV Nation

I finished reading this Michael Moore book the other day and I must say that it was far better than I had expected. My previous experience of Moore’s writing was Stupid White Men, which while I found interesting, wasn’t actually that funny.

So I picked Prey by Michael Crichton. The book was great. I started reading it last night pretty late and had it finished by lunchtime today.

Weapons Of Mass Deception

Well having finished Al Franken’s book, I got a lend of this from one of my friends. I’ve only just started and it’s not as funny or as flowing as Franken’s book but interesting all the same.

I first heard about this book from an interview in Rolling Stone magazine, I think. It was an interview with Al Franken and he imediately grabbed me as a guy I’d want to hear more from, then when I was in Orlando he appeared on CNN talking more about the book, so when I was in New York and there was 30% off I couldn’t help but buy it.

Batman: Year One

Well I’ve decided to fully embrace my geekyness and start reading all the comics/graphic novels Kieran has. I’m starting with Batman: Year One which by all accounts is meant to be fantastic…. we’ll see!

Secret Show!

well I’ve had a hugely eventful 24 hours. I won tickets to a secret Jimmy Eat World/Foo Fighters Witnness warmup show on The Foo Fighers Site Yay! But that means I have to go to Dublin early which means I must get extra time off work. Hopefully I’ll be able.
