Never Knowing when to shut up!
I loved this story Damien linked me to the other day. I was hoping it would get wider coverage so I was happy when I saw it in the Daily Mail today, which is great. Unfortunately as usual with any story taken from a blog they didn’t bother to credit the source. Pathetic…

Yup we’re treated like dirt by the ‘mainstream’ a lot of the time. And it’s not always the ‘mainstream’ either. ENN lifted a quote from a comment to my blog a while back without any attribution whatsoever. When I complained they said they had a policy of not linking from some of their articles. When I blogged about it they got all upset and self-righteous but eventually got the point and credited my blog.
What’s laughable is when a newspaper article talks about a website or blog and never even mentions the blog URL. Seems to happen quite often from what I see..
