As I’ve mentioned a few times I love Last.fm/Audioscrobbler — here’s my profile — and I’ve often posted about the various `mashups’ that are around the web. Generally though while cool I find that the mashups aren’t that useful. However I found one I found quite useful.

As I said I like using Last.fm so it’s got a good idea of my favourite bands, so when combined with the band listings on Upcoming.org, I now have a personalised search of where my favourite bands are playing! You can see a sample search here.

The only problem is that it depends on the Upcoming.org listings which aren’t complete. If Upcoming.org continues to improve as I expect it will, it’s going to be an extremely useful tool for me.
