Never Knowing when to shut up!
Via Nelson comes the Top Cameras on Flickr. My trusty but increasingly old Canon PowerShot A70 is in 11th place. I’m facinated that such a high percentage of the top cameras are very high end.
Guy Kawasaki with a great entry on how to name your company.
Once upon a time a bad experience meant that you told a few of your friends and they decided not to buy that product/service. In 2006 however you blog it and tell everyone that whatever they do they should stay away from Brasserie Sixty 6.
As I’ve mentioned a few times I love Last.fm/Audioscrobbler — here’s my profile — and I’ve often posted about the various `mashups’ that are around the web. Generally though while cool I find that the mashups aren’t that useful. However I found one I found quite useful.
As I said I like using Last.fm so it’s […]
I’ve made up my mind, the Winter Olympics is a million times better to watch on TV than the Summer games. The summer games can be quite mundane, I’m sure some people like them a lot, but while I watch them there are few sports on it I really enjoy. Meanwhile the Winter one’s […]

Boards.ie proves itself top notch again! I’ve had my SE k750i for ages now and I could never figure out what was going on with certain people I couldn’t reply too. I thought it was just me but a boards.ie thread on the problem gives a workaround. Fantastic!
Thanks a million to Rymus who has got the ball rolling over on ‘The Corkonian’ making the first post that wasn’t by me! Now he’s making me look bad so I’m really going to have to get my skates on and create content for the site. Remember if you want to contribute to the site all you have to do is Contact Me.
Found this interesting site while reading up on one of the founders of Betfair. It seems like it might be a useful resource.
TD Billy Kelleher was caught doing 120 kph on the Cashel bypass yesterday. Of course the media think this is front page news which is complete rubbish. A speed limit of 100 kph on a road like that is madness in the first place. We’ve got all these fantastic roads around the place, which are virtually accident free and we decide to stick speed limits from the 1960’s on them, ignoring the fact that cars are far far better than when those limits were invented.
