Yahoo! Instant Search
I like this a lot, seems to be more useful than the Google `I’m feeling lucky’ button.

The Engadget Interview: Michael Robertson, CEO of SIPphone
Interesting interview. I’d love if everyone went with SIP compatible VOIP like this but with Skype getting bought by eBay it doesn’t look […]

Microsoft Office 12’s Radical New Look
Looks a bit ‘fluffy’ but that’s not to say it won’t be better. I like the XP start menu and I’m glad I made the switch others never even tried.

Google today launched their long awaited blog search tool. The tool can be found at http://google.com/blogsearch. Google defines blogs as sites that use RSS and other structured feeds and update content on a regular basis. Since they only seem to have started indexing in June only content since June will appear in the index.

With all the Eddie Hobbs related stuff in the media you can’t help but watch the prices you are paying at the moment, but what I’ve noticed is that people will say something is a rip-off and that Irish people are being ripped off without any basis in fact. Take for example petrol, Ireland has […]
Recently I criticised the Irish Times for a number of things but this time I’m here to praise them, well kinda. As you may know the Irish Times charges for the vast majority of the content on it’s website. The charges are quite high so I’ve naturally not paid them before*. Today there was an […]
Some people think we live in an equal society where everyone is treated equally but as I’ve pointed out before people are often all too willing to treat a percieved discriminated grouping better than others. This BBC article shows again how some discrimination is alright. Can you imagine if this guy was discriminated against because […]
