Tom emailed me yesterday to let me know about all the trouble he was having finding my RSS feed link. The actual link was/is tucked all the way down at the bottom of the page. I never even noticed that it was so difficult to find because of the way I subscribe to RSS feeds.

I got tired a long time ago of finding the RSS feed link and pasting it into my aggregator. Then when I moved to Bloglines things got a little bit easier. I could now simply type in the regular URL of the blog I was on and it would use RSS Autodiscovery to find the feeds.

This worked great but things got even easier when Firefox started recognising RSS. When this happened the Livelines extension was created. Now I can simply click on the Livelines button and get a list of feeds to subscribe to. Clicking on the feed I want then takes me to Bloglines. Easy!

Anyway I’ve added loads of buttons with links to feeds thanks to Feedburner for anyone looking for the feed buttons without Livelines/Autodiscovery/etc.
