I got my first phone in 99 and back then I was with Esat Digifone (now o2). After that I ended up with Eircell (now Vodafone). I stayed with them until Saturday when I switched to Meteor. Since I am now longer a student I decided to move to a bill from prepay. This means I can now blog on the move!

I also save a decent amount of money. I’m on the cheapest Meteor tariff and compared to what I was paying on Vodafone it’s far far cheaper for my type of usage. I’ve had no major problems with Meteor, in fact the coverage in my house is better than I used to get on Vodafone. Apparently their customer service is poor but I didn’t really think so although it did take me two goes to get GPRS set up. The first girl I spoke to set me up for MMS messaging twice because even though I expressly asked her about GPRS she must not have known what I was talking about. I tried again about an hour ago with much better results because I had the settings from this boards.ie thread so I was able to explain the concepts better and they set me up!
