Never Knowing when to shut up!
I like to look at the Google Zeitgeist from time to time and I just noticed some small errors in this months one.
If you look at the top queries in the UK, you’ll see the following.
As you can see Wayne Rooney appears as the fifth most popular query in June, but he doesn’t appear as the most popular sports figure, David Beckham does! So what’s up, first I presumed that they just made up the tables based on the data, but not very accurately but when I looked at the Canada results they disagreed.
Here the trend isn’t repeated. If you compare the Popular Women to the Popular Queries they appear in order. So I don’t know what’s up, either someone has something against Becks, or a lot of the data is semi-fabricated.
