Dropcash Beta

Kottke, Haughey and just about everyone else has been talking about the Dropcash beta today so I decided I’d take a look at it.

Ad in UCC

In UCC there is a notice board for posting classifieds for various things, below is a picture of one that was posted recently. I don’t know whether it’s real or fake but regardless it’s quite funny

I like to look at the Google Zeitgeist from time to time and I just noticed some small errors in this months one.

Remember GeoURL, the site which plotted your location and showed you blogs nearby? Well that may not work anymore, but the makers of the quite excellent MultiMap have created a similar tool.

It’s Finished

Last week, I wrote about our experiences with Medion and if you read the post I mentioned I was building a new PC for the family myself. Well that project is completed so I thought I’d write a little on it.

Meme propagation tracking

This posting is a community experiment started by Minding the Planet
to see how a meme represented by a blog posting spreads across
blogspace, physical space and time. It will help to show how ideas
travel across blogs in space and time and how blogs are connected. It
may also help to show which blogs are most influential in the
propagation of memes. The original posting for this experiment is
located at: Minding the Planet; results and commentary will appear
there in the future.
