As far as I can figure out the video comes from this CNN show. The video shows a wounded Iraqi lying on the ground. He’s clearly been incapacitated but instead of taking him as a prisoner of war, the Americans instead continue shooting at him, and cheer when they hit him and kill him. Watch it yourself. It’s disgusting.

I actually can’t believe this story. The world is pretty absurd at times nowadays but this takes the biscuit! Israel is currently trying to block Ireland’s annual UN resolution condemning religious intolerance, because it does not include a specific condemnation of anti-Semitism.

Well I guessed Howard Dean was going to be my number one, and he was! The site asks a series of questions on the issues they stand for and tries to give you your number one!

Could this T-Shirt be the ideal present for those American friends of your’s who don’t like Bush. I hear many Americans say they are Canadian when abroad, this could be a better solution!

Woo-hoo, after me wishing and wishing and wishing, SG-1 finally goes back to the main story arc, and it does it in style. This was a great episode and the only drawback is that it’s a two parter and I have to wait another week to see the rest of it!

The New York Times magazine has this (longish) story on The Dean Connection. It’s quite a good read, and you see why I want Howard Dean to be the next president of the US.

24 - This episode really did concentrate on just setting things up for future episodes. It was still good though. Kim as usual has managed to get herself into a world of trouble yet again! My money is on her being accused of being the mole by Guille. She’s already in trouble over the causing the prison riot thing, so it seems the obvious thing to happen! I guess we’ll find out next week, I wonder how long Jack’s flight to Mexico is going to take? How real time is it going to be?

I don’t normally post things like this to the main blog. I usually keep them for the linklog but this one is so much fun. I won’t bother trying to describe it, but it’s great fun. Thank you metafilter yet again!

This cell phone jammer was linked to via Gizmodo. It’s not the main thrust of the story, but it got me thinking how great one of these would be! You’d sit down in the cinema turn it on and enjoy a blissful time. No longer would you be interupted by annoying people deciding to answer (yes actually answer) their phone in the cinema.

Stargate - I enjoyed this one quite a lot. At least it was sort of on the main story arc. I really hope they start getting back onto the main arc properly soon. I’m a bit sick of the stand alone episodes. Well not so much stand alone episodes as crap stand alone episodes!
