Istanbul Attacks

Yesterday terror finally struck at Britian. We’ve been warned for ages that Terrorists would strike at Britain but of course all the top security in mainland Britain can’t do much to protect British interests abroad.

My Radio Station

I forgot how great Launch.com was. I first used it ages ago in college before they upgraded the system so we could play anything the newer versions of Windows Media playercan play, but I was always able to use Launch.com, but for whatever reason I didn’t bother much last year. So today I threw it on and put on my radio station

Since I did my last political compass test I found out about another political compass site. Apparently the maker of this site reckons that it gives better results, so I decided to have a pop off it….

‘ve picked up a Dell Dimension 4500s whose PSU seems to have been fried. I’m having a nightmare trying to find a replacement PSU. Apparently Dell use proprietary PSU wiring so I can’t just plug any old generic PSU in there………

The first half wasn’t that great and I started to wonder whether I’d just wait until next year to watch them on BBC, but by the second half the episode had picked up so I decided I’m going to keep downloading the episodes!

New File System

Well thanks to Phil Gyford, the archives now have a new easier to read structure. Gone are the non-descript numeric URLs like

This must be my 3rd or even fourth time taking this test. This time I decided I’d keep a permanent record of my scores so that I could accurately track my changing views over time! I’ve yo-yoed a bit over the past 3 years or so. I’ve always been this Libertarian maybe even a little more in the past…..

Stargate SG-1 7.07 [Enemy Mine]

Stargate - Well, in a shock to anyone who’s been reading my Season 7 reviews, I actually enjoyed this episode. It was a Daniel centric episode which was nice to see considering the reason Michael Shanks left the show was because Daniel’s character was being under-utilised.
