Stargate SG-1 7.09 [Avenger 2.0]

As has been all to common recently they came up with a stupid reason to sideline some of the characters so they could go on holiday or what not. But anyway I liked the episode and hopefully…, any day now, we’ll get an episode that ties back into the main story arc. The Ga’ould? Anyone remember them?

While Teal’c and O’Neill are off with some Jaffa and Daniel is helping the natives on a geologically unstable planet, Dr. Jay Felger (from “The Other Guys”) has managed to piss off Hammond after blowing the base’s power out while testing a new plasma cannon. Felger promises to come up with a new device in 24 hours and comes up with Avenger, a computer virus that can shut down any Stargate in the network. With Carter’s backing, Hammond agrees and Felger targets a stargate on a mining world owned by Ba’al. But the virus triggers a network-wide collapse of all the stargates, trapping Daniel in the middle of a flood and Teal’c and O’Neill in a firefight…………….. Read More
