I watched this for the first time about a week and a half ago when it came on Sky Movies. I knew it hadn’t got the best reviews when it came out, but I keep an open mind with film reviews so I sat down and watched it anyway and I was quite impressed.

The general consensus is that the film is “Just too preachy and clumsy.” I didn’t find that at all. It more than held my attention and I found that it left loads of questions at the end which although sometimes frustrating is generally better than wrapping it all up in a neat little package.

As usual Kevin Spacey was in great form and Jeff Bridges was excellent in the film also. Together they made a great acting team. I don’t have any major criticisms of the film to be honest. I’d recommend the film to anyone.
