Newsnight - US Economic Woes

Newsnight - I must have stopped watching before this item, it’s a debate between Paul Krugman and Dr. Irvine Stelzer. You can watch the item here.

Whitehouse Changing History

So when the Whitehouse attempts to remove many of it’s pages from Google’s index you get a little worried. When you find out that it’s removing all the entries related to Iraq you get very worried.

Fox News Sucks #12123242

I’m beginning to wonder whether the people running Fox News are actually retarded. They took that case against Al Franken over his most recent book and were effectively laughed out of court. So you think they’d get the message and realise they should think before they act with regard to sueing people, but no actually they seem to have decided to make up a more outrageous lawsuit.

Ireland Win…Phew!

WOW that was close. At the end of the day we did the job and won. Argentina were very impressive but in the last 20 minutes our professionalism showed. Unfortunately Brian O’Driscoll had another lack lustre game. He’ll need to be better if we’re to win a quarter final.

Switch To Mozilla

I’m a Mozilla zealot. I use it all the time and haven’t looked back since I switched from Internet Explorer. I tell people all the time how great it is and how they should change to it and I’ve convinced two people to switch and they in turn have convinced people to switch.

I think it’s a pretty damning indictment of Rumsfeld and the other neo-con’s policy for the War on Terror. Basically this memo was leaked by someone in the Pentagon. The memo was clearly intended for only high-ranking individuals but now everyone knows that even Rumsfeld doesn’t know “Are we winning or losing the Global War on Terror?”.

Stargate SG-1 7.04 [Orpheus]

Stargate - Entertaining but again it was pretty slow to start off with. The first half wasn’t very good but it did pick up in the second half. Hopefully next week will be better.

Ireland Win Again

As I write this Ireland have just comprehensively defeated Namibia, which was absolutely necessary to continue in the World Cup, and was expected.

Michael Moore: Adventures in A TV Nation

I finished reading this Michael Moore book the other day and I must say that it was far better than I had expected. My previous experience of Moore’s writing was Stupid White Men, which while I found interesting, wasn’t actually that funny.

Stargate SG-1 7.03 [Fragile Balance]

Stargate - This was really enjoyable but really haven’t we seen it all before! Now don’t get me wrong, I thought it was good and it was funny but it’s a very similar plot to so many SG-1 Episodes. I can count 3 or 4 body swap episodes but they were all excellent too so maybe I shouldn’t complain so much.
