The Minster for Eduction, the incompetent Noel Dempsey just announced what can only be called a climbdown on the issue of fees. Of course he’s not calling it a climbdown but I don’t see what else you can call it. The climbdown is a great outcome for those of us who have opposed fees since Dempsey thought up this stupid idea.
