Never Knowing when to shut up!
Salon.com have this interesting article on where the hydrogen for hydrogen powered cars will come from. I don’t think the article gives enough coverage to the usage of renewable energy to make the Hydrogen but it’s an interesting read all the same. George Bush has allocated money for research towards using coal to make the Hydrogen though. Could this man be any stupider? Let’s use a dirty fuel to make a clean fuel. I suppose I can’t expect him to understand the laws of thermodynamics but George, it’ll take more energy to create it than you get back using it!!

But of course ALL new developements in energy production MUST make LORRA, LORRA MONEY for the Moguls.
Similarly ALL new developements MUST involve ‘Fancy Dan’ technologies, which set to prove that men are cleverer, and more powerful, than Good old Mother Nature.
Whatever happened to the the Brunels of this world, who used essentially primitive engineering to HARNESS the sheer power of nature?
E.g. 5 trillion+ tons of Gravitational P.E., which can be harnessed…BY ONLY A TEASPOON!
