OK I promised to update this ages ago but I was so busy I never got around to it so I’ll write an update on everything I’ve done since the last update. Well….

I won tickets to a secret Foo Fighters/Jimmy Eat World gig in Dublin which meant I had to head off to Dublin last thursday to collect the tickets. The gig was amazing. It’s a small venue so we were really close to the band. How cool is that. Anyways along came saturday and the Witnness Festival which was really great. My favourite bands of the weekend had to be Green Day and Rival Schools. There also was a signing tent so I got to meet all of the guys from Jimmy Eat World which rocked.

On Sunday we were barely into the festival when Aoife spotted Walter from Rival Schools walking around the place. Needless to say I rushed over to him and got him to sign my album cover and got my photo with him! It made my day. He was such a nice guy. The next day we were walking along Grafton Street when we met him again and… he remembered us!! Anyway I came back on Tuesday evening and have been very busy getting the Cradle Website ready for its launch.

For anyone who’s in the Cork area next Wednesday I suggest you check out the band. As I’ve said before they’re called Cradle and will be playing at 8pm in the Spailpín Fanac on South Main Street. The admission costs €3 and that includes a concession to Freakscene at the Savoy nightclub afterwards. Again I definitely suggest you check it out.
